Living Room

The Visconti corner lounge revisits a great classic of ship design. The solid base is a storage compartment with drawers and the cushions are rested directly on the wooden frame. Padded elements can be upholstered with a selection of fabrics from our sample set, each featuring different patterns and weaves. On request, elements can also be upholstered using materials supplied by the client. The Montecristo occasional table is a wooden chest with tacked leather upholstery, featuring drawers and a storage compartment for bottles and magazine holder.

The modular bookshelf system is the symbol of flexibility in Caroti design. The enormous modular versatility and the absence of any wall anchoring systems caters to a range of furniture functions from the living area to the study, highlighting its role as a storage unit. More than just standard modules, as proven by this composition, which follows the slope of the roof thanks to custom made modules. The self-supporting structure also allows the insertion of a door opening, which divides two adjacent areas without the need for any structural works: the opening can be closed using a hinged door in a style and colour perfectly coordinated with the rest of the furniture.

Living area: a social space, a place not only for people to meet, but also where the home meets with the sunlight, which enhances the natural veining of the solid wood, a primary, precious and mandatory material in Caroti modular bookshelf systems. A solution for all space needs: Linear: the unit is developed across a single surface. Corner: the unit is developed across two surfaces, forming a 90° or 45° angle. Bridge: the storage unit is developed in height, leaving space for beds, desks, sofa, etc. in the lower part. Built-in: the unit is built into the wall, thus creating a flush wall effect. Passing: the unit includes door openings that connect one room to another. Two-sided: the unit can be accessed from both sides. Caroti modular bookshelves are designed using modules that can be supplied in standard international heights: 190, 234 and 260 cm. All modules can also be made to size.

Elegance of another era for contemporary living. The Admiral set of leather sofas, composed of a 3 and 2 seat sofa, armchair and chaise lounge, is available in 2 finishes: ivory with Navy blue cordage and ivory with Burgundy Red cordage. The Lounge Clock Table with magazine rack and drawers, 100 x 100 x 50h cm takes its name from the upper deck which has a clock working on quadrant with Compass decoration. While remaining faithful to the original, Caroti has always tried to transfer its particular vision of the Old Marina style to its products, to allow that aesthetic to live on in contemporary environments. With this spirit Magellano was born, a piece of furniture of majestic lines that combines the functionality of 3 products: cupboard, lighted glass showcase and extractable TV-stand.

The modular wall paneling system used by Caroti enables clients to chose from a wide  range of finishes and upholstery that can be combined like in this example. Where, smooth panels are alternated with mirror panels or panels in leather capitonnè. There are an infinite number of modular solutions adaptable to any space. The ceiling coffer provides the location with great lighting because the spotlights can be positioned as one desires. A particular aspect of the ceilings designed by Caroti, is the insertion of big, backlit sandblasted mirror glass skylights with a Wind Rose decor. The Demi Arkata bookcase brings together the design of a curved bookcase with the functionality of cabinets with doors and flaps. Its soft and sinuous shape creates a delicate contrast with the wainscoting and the ceiling coffer, thanks to a mix of finishes combined with art. Mahogany Fusion and Patinated lacquer give the atmosphere a diffused sense of warmth and  calmness, that wraps the atmosphere is a sincere embrace. The space can be completed with  ivory colour leather Chester couches and a Lounge coffee table with a sandblasted glass top. For the true admirers of the nautical style, Caroti has designed the covering for fireplaces in white marble from Carrara with low reliefs and incisions. The  Arkata bookcase is a flexible element that lends itself to varied and original compositions, both for the sleeping area and the living area. With its soft and sinuous shapes that recall the shape of a rudder, it can hold on its inside a buffet, a TV cabinet,  glass doors and shelves, always remaining functional and optimizing space. In this solution for the living area  Caroti suggests a  Millerighe cupboard combined with a  TV holder frame  equipped with a  lateral CD holder in smoked glass: this particular glass hides the TV set and the  cables in a discreet way when it is turned off and it allows optimal viewing of the screen when it is on. The TV unit Frame with Atlante panel cover and built in spotlights is a perfect solution for an intimite and discreet living area, in fact, with its contained measurements cm. 180 x 31 x H220 it fits perfectly even in smaller spaces. To create an atmosphere where one can breathe the nautical style, Caroti designed the lighting set Atlas made up of a suspended chandelier with a parchment  shade, diam. 90 cm, from top to bottom The Chester couch area - 2 seater cm. H72 x 165 x 90 cm 3 seater H72 x 220 x 90 - is completed with the square coffee table Lounge with a mirror table top decorated  with a Wind Rose decor cm. 100 x 100 x h50, equipped with a magazine rack and drawers. One of Caroti's great classical  nautical designs appropriate for large open spaces where elegance and convience are the soul protagonists. The double sided Arkata bookcase becomes an all in one with a small wall unit upholstered in solid wood panels,  hand painted with a Wind Rose decor and upholstered in capitonnè leather. The Arkata bookcase offers an opening of 264cm with a total encumbrance of 364cm x 227 in height and 33 in depth. The opening and the portal can be modified and custom-made using non-standard measurements, upon request.

The  Millerighe unit is a low spacious cabinet with drawers and doors. It is often matched with a hanging TV holder  with lateral CD / DVD racks, it comes  in various sizes to accommodate televisions of all sizes. When we think of a Captain's cabin, we immediately think of the soft mahogany grain that sets off  the intense tones of burgundy that contrast with the glitter of  plated brass.  In this yesteryear atmosphere a timeless sectional couch with drawers and corner table find their home. The one to three seater couches with a depth of 90 cm accommodate drawers in the base,  while the upholstery of both the seatbacks and seats can be customized with a wide range of fabrics, leather and other materials.
